The proposed study is a of a larger multi-partner assessment commissioned by the World Bank with the aim to assess the advantages and disadvantages of agricultural diversification from a productivity, resilience and nutrition perspective - to analyze the drivers of - and constraints to agricultural diversification as opposed to specialization, and to identify leverage points in domestic policies in- and outside the agricultural regulatory domain. The aim is to derive recommendations for improved national and regional policies.
