This TRANSFORM study provides an in-depth analysis of challenges related to food loss and waste (FLW) in Southern Africa and identifies opportunities for strategic investments to transform FLW governance and reduce waste in the region. The study focuses on Southern Africa with detailed case study research in Lusaka city region (Zambia), Lilongwe city region (Malawi), Maputo city region (Mozambique), and Windhoek city region (Namibia).
