AFRINT II: The Millenium Development Goals and The African Food Crisis

The Centre for Social Research of the University of Malawi in collaboration with Lund University in Sweden conducted a study whose broad aim was to aim at determining how Malawi is moving towards achievieving the targets of the millennium Development Goals on reducing poverty and enhancing people's food security. The study was conducted in 9 African countries including Malawi and in the end, a book was published which drew on lessons from various countries on issues relating to policy and programmers in Africa.
