The impact evaluation was commissioned by the Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) of the African Development Bank (AfDB) to collect data for the Impact Evaluation of the AfDB supported irrigation development in Malawi. Primary data were collected from 1,800 beneficiary and non-beneficiary households in 36 program and non-program areas. The survey was also conducted at community level.
