Africa Regional Education System Resilience Observatory

Makerere University School of Public Health-Resilient Africa Network (RAN) in collaboration with Link Community Development Uganda and the Regional Resilience Center (RRC) at Dalhousie University are setting up an Africa Regional Education Systems Resilience Observatory (ARESRO). ARESRO will be a “one-stop-shop” source of information on perceptions and practices on education system resilience (ESR) (practitioner perceptions on shocks, stressors, risks, and coping affecting the education systems of the 42 GPE partner countries in Africa, including those that are anticipated to affect them as well as the expected impacts; current and forecasted practices regarding ESR). This project seeks to contribute to the improvement of the education system resilience in GPE partner countries through evidence-informed programming.
